Linglong Tire Winter Experience 2026 in Austria

In early February 2026, the first Linglong Winter Experience 2026 took place in Austria, with nearly 40 tire dealers from across Europe in attendance.

All driving dynamics exercises were held at the Stegergut winter driving park, which is picturesquely situated at 1,030 meters between mountain peaks in the Salzburg region and offers perfect conditions for professional winter driver training, including varied and challenging handling courses, large dynamic areas, and skid pads. Under the guidance of an experienced team of instructors, the tire dealers covered over 120 kilometers in the provided Toyota GR Yaris and GR Supra training vehicles. True to the motto "sideways is better," the vehicle selection focused primarily on drift capabilities, meaning the program was not just about improving general driving skills, but ultimately about navigating the vehicles through the various tracks in a controlled drift. All participants were able to indulge their passion for sporty driving, perfect their vehicle control at the limit, and put their skills to the test on the various courses.

All vehicles were equipped with the latest Linglong Sport Master Winter tire tread in size 225/40 R18 92W – the first Linglong tire developed in Germany and produced exclusively in Europe, which was rated "good" by the trade magazine auto motor und sport in 2025 and named the price-performance winner by the Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD) in 2026.

A two-hour workshop presenting the latest Linglong products and planned marketing campaigns, a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy mountain landscape, and a hearty snack in a rustic mountain hut rounded off the Linglong Winter Experience, which is definitely set to continue next year.
