About Linglong
World-leading tire expertise.
Founded in 1975, Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. is one of the world’s leading tire manufacturers with a turnover of over 2.9 billion euros. It produces tires primarily for passenger cars, trucks, and industrial and construction machinery in five Chinese tire plants, as well as one plant each in Thailand and Europe, with sales in 173 countries.
In total, Linglong employs over 19,000 people and operates seven development centers worldwide, including in the USA and Germany, where all tires for the European market are developed and tested.
Linglong Tire is an original equipment supplier to over 60 automotive manufacturers, including Volkswagen, Audi, and BYD. Vehicles such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, the Citroen C3, and the all-electric Fiat 500e roll off the production line with Linglong tires.
For years, Linglong Tire has sponsored numerous European football clubs, and currently, Linglong Tire is the global tire partner for Real Madrid and Chelsea FC.

Expansion
The Journey to a Global Brand
In 2021, Linglong announced its 7+5 strategy, aimed at optimizing its structure and improving market coverage. The strategy involves establishing five tire factories worldwide – outside of China – in addition to seven tire factories within China. Linglong currently produces in Thailand and Serbia, with plans for another factory in Brazil, and two more plants outside China planned in the medium term. Linglong also operates seven development centers worldwide, including in the USA and Germany, where all tires for the European market are developed and tested.
