Zhaoyuan, China, December 7, 2025 – Under the theme "Linglong 50 – Always Forward," Linglong Tire hosted its 2025 Global Partners Conference last week at its headquarters in Zhaoyuan, China, to mark the company's 50th anniversary. The event brought together tire experts and industry leaders from around the world to reflect on the company's 50-year history and look toward the future, with a focus on strategies for sustainable innovation.
In his keynote address, President and CEO Wang Feng summarized Linglong's development since its founding in 1975: from its beginnings as a small factory on the Jiaodong Peninsula to its current status as a global player and leading tire manufacturer with exports to 173 countries. Wang thanked all consultants, partner universities, financial institutions, suppliers, and customers, emphasizing that such successful growth was only possible through their mutual trust and ongoing collaboration.
Looking to the future, Wang Feng outlined Linglong's goals to become an even larger and more successful company, always with a focus on customers and their needs. The company will concentrate on building an open, smart, and synergistic global industrial ecosystem to foster efficient collaboration across the entire value chain through technological innovation.
The conference featured high-level discussions on green and intelligent transformation within the tire industry. During an awards ceremony, Linglong honored long-standing partners such as Bekaert and VMI for their continued support. Numerous guests, including Maja Stefanovic, the Serbian Ambassador to China, and academician Zhang Liqun, praised Linglong's leading role in promoting international cooperation and new technologies. These innovations, presented at the conference, underscore Linglong's commitment to sustainable development, including:
- Tires made from 79% bio-based, sustainable materials, which increase resource efficiency
- Self-healing, intelligent tires that enhance proactive safety, along with an intelligent self-repair system that elevates tire safety to a new level
- Airless tire technology for future mobility ecosystems
Linglong Tire also signed several strategic agreements with leading institutions and companies.
