Zhaoyuan | Hanover, October 20, 2025 – Linglong Tire introduces the 59/80 R63 LXD Master Pro, the world's largest OTR tire, impressively demonstrating its superior and independent innovative strength. Built in Changchun, China, this 63-inch tire has a diameter of over four meters and weighs more than six tons! With a load capacity of 100 tons, the tire is primarily used on large off-highway dump trucks like the Caterpillar 797 or Komatsu 980 in mining regions, particularly in open-pit and underground mines across Australia, South America, and Africa.
Linglong has nearly 40 years of experience in manufacturing OTR tires. Since building its first bias-ply tire for agricultural machinery in 1987, Linglong has steadily expanded its three main product lines—construction, agricultural, and industrial tires—accumulating immense technical expertise. This know-how was leveraged during the R&D process of the 59/80 R63 LXD Master Pro to overcome technical challenges in structural design, materials, and production.
The launch of the 59/80 R63 LXD Master Pro not only fills a gap in Linglong's OTR portfolio for 63-inch giant radial tires, but above all demonstrates that the company possesses all the technologies that were, until recently, the exclusive domain of leading international premium brands. To meet the demands of the OTR tire market, the company optimized its production capacity planning back in 2022. As part of its global "7+5" strategic layout, a specific "3+3" layout for OTR tires was implemented: in the future, OTR tires will be manufactured at three production sites in China and three production sites outside of China.
